On Monday, September 8th I sent an email to past coaches and librarians. In case you did not receive it, I'm posting it here as well.
Welcome back to a new school year! We are getting ready to gear up for a new Battle of the Books (BOTB) season but before I send any information out, I need to know who, at each district, will be serving as the liaison this year. Please see the previous blog post for more information on why we need a liaison.
The liaison is one person in your district with whom we will communicate information about Battle of the Books this year. That person will be responsible for:
- ensuring that all communication sent by SLS is shared with all coaches in the district
- registering the teams (Dec/Jan)
- acting as a liaison between coaches and SLS to relay questions to SLS from coaches as needed -- the liaison is the point person for all communication.
Ideally, this person would be the librarian in the district, but we understand that is not always possible. Whoever will be serving as the liaison should add the requested information to this spreadsheet no later than September 19th at 4:00 pm. Access to the spreadsheet will be turned off at that time. Please provide ONE alternate contact person just in case.
