Easy Renewals

Some folks have been asking how they can do renewals, more similarly to how we used to do them in our previous automation system. Karin just figured out a way!(And if you already do this, then awesome. Karin literally just had an "a ha" moment.) In LS2 Staff-->Staff Services-->Titles and Items, you can scan the barcode into the search, and the title pops up. On the right, there's a spot to "click to renew". It might occasionally have a popup where you would type in an override, depending upon other things (if you don't know your override, Karin can change the password for you), but it's super quick. Try it! With this method, you can bypass having to go into each borrower's account to renew. By the way, we can also enable/disable automatic renewals for you. When that setting is turned on for a location, it will automatically renew items a couple of times before marking it as overdue. (Note that any changes made in settings are not retroactive.)...

You should be able to fully access your catalogs.
